Armenian Coffee (Soorj) Recipe Preparation & Instructions:
2. Pour one shot of cold water into your jazve coffee pot for each cup of coffee you plan to make and turn on the stove-top.
3. Add a generous teaspoon of coffee for each of shot of water you added and stir thoroughly.
4. (Optionally) Add a level teaspoon of sugar for each shot of water and keep stirring. ( KEEP AN EYE ON THE POT AS IT HEATS! )
5. A carefully watched pot will definitely come to a boil, but a unwatched pot will boil over, spilling all over, and you have ruined the coffee! Keep it boiling for a bit while moving the pot onto the stove-top and removing it until it has came to a boil 5-6 time or so, now its ready to drink.
5. Now just pour the coffee into the coffee shots!
