Mexican Thunderstorm Drink Recipe Instructions

Put Tequila and Goldschläger in the bottom of the glass (order doesn't matter) then the Sambuca on top. In theory what should happen is the Sambuca, being a heavier liquor than the other two will force it's way to the bottom of the shot glass, causing the Tequila and Goldschläger to "billow" (like clouds) against a "dark sky" (the Sambuca) to the top, with the flecks of gold from the Goldschläger looking like lightning bolts. And the Tequila of course makes it Mexican.

It's a powerful shot, but the cinnamon flavour of the Goldschläger really cuts the liquorice flavour of the Sambuca and makes it taste pretty good. But I'd still say it's an aquired taste, and it is pretty strong, and a few of them will definetley get you tipsy. Still it's a cool shot, and my personal favourite :)

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know I'm the inventor of the shot. Did it for a bar course in college forever ago, but if anyone knows it by a different name or anything please feel free to let me know.
