The Ogie Recipe Information

My name is Mike Oghia, but most of my friends call me "Ogie". One day I was at a party and they didn't have my usual, coconut rum and pineapple juice (aka, the "Panty Ripper") so I mixed something up based on things I liked that they had. I figured out orange juice, grenadine, and Three Olives cherry vodka are an amazing combination, and from then on, one of my favorite drinks became known as "The Ogie".

Don't mix it with any other cherry vodka. Even though it's a little more pricy (about $20 for a 5th) other kinds don't mix as well and affect the taste. Ice is a must, it just doesn't taste right if it isn't cold.

I've always just mixed it based on my own tastes, but I think that the above amounts will be a good foundation.

Some variations of this drink include adding Sprite, Ginger Ale, or 7-Up/Sierra Mist (if you want a little more sugar), adding pineapple juice (if you want extra tart), or even mix the orange juice with Sunny Delight, or replace it with it.

For anymore information, please contact me. I'm pretty sure I'm the first to come up with this drink, but I may not be. I looked for it, but I couldn't find anything like it.
